I love that your dolls are each unique in there own way and that you have VBAC dolls, Birthing Dolls, nursing dolls and even baby wearing dolls. I also saw recently that you have a daddy baby wearing doll so neat! I would love to add a few of your dolls to my doll collection and to have one around for the next time I am pregnant so that I can teach my older kids all about what is happening to me and how the whole process works! Unfortunately we just do not have the finances to purchase even one of your dolls.

They're a wonderful teaching tool for children and adults alike
Anna Adkins said…
I love that they teach children that birth is a normal fact of life, not something to be scared of. My 2-year-old is very interested in the story of how she was born, and has recently started requesting the story of how "daddy helped make" her in my belly. :) She knows age appropriate details of sex and childbirth, but I would love to have Mama Joy to show (instead of just telling) her the birth process in a non-graphic way.
Unknown said…
Oooooo! Joy is beautiful! (They're all beautiful!) I love her! One of these days I will win one! :) *fingers crossed*

I would really love one, for my boys, who are total breastfeeding advocates. They could learn evermore about baby wearing, my youngest would love putting the baby in the sling, and getting baby fed. And hopefully one day, they would be awesome crunchy Dads, and when their babies come round to nana's, they would come play with Joy, the baby wearing doll. It's a nice thought, but who knows

You do an amazing job crafting each of these beauties. Each are as individual as little people themselves. I think the normality of your dolls is a great thing to have among children's toys. Five out of my 6 children has witnessed me giving birth and all of them has been fed from my breasts. I would love a doll of yours for my children to play with instead of the dolls that come with plastic bottles or unrealistically thin bodies. Lets play "mummies and babies" with dolls that promote healthy mother-child relationships :)
