I would like to win Sara because 1. I think she absolutely stunning 2. I am a nurse-midwifery student and a mother and a MamAmor Doll is a dream of mine. It's amazing that a doll can encompass much of the significance of my life right now. 3. I have currently have cancer and I had to give up breastfeeding for chemo-radiation (hopefully temp.-I stopped a pump and dump session to write this) and I see a MamAmor Doll as a way to heal the hurt and re initiate breastfeeding with my daughter. Regardless of who wins Sara, she is beautiful!

I want to win Sara to give to my best friend. It would be incredibly meaningful for her to have as a part of her doula practice and to use at home with her two girls who she's raising in a very conscious manner regarding bodies, pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding.

Congratulations on 10,000 likes! I would like to win Sara for my 2 kids for several reasons. The first and most obvious reason is my almost 5 year old's fascination with babies and birth. Having a birthing doll would be amazing for her. We don't make much money so winning her would be the only way I'll ever be able to own one of these beautiful mamas. Last and certainly not least I would love to win her because she's hand made, (mostly) right here in Alberta-and all over the world.

I LOVE Sara! I would love to win her for my four (next week!) year old who has that same hue of reddish-blonde hair.

I would love to win one, because my daughters have lots of dolls that have bottles, and they were both breast fed. I'd love for them to be able to play with a doll that really shows them how babies eat!

I desire to win Sara because I very much want one of these dolls but on our limited income I simply cannot afford one. I have a strong interest in birth and breastfeeding so Sara would be a welcome addition to our family.

I have wanted one of your dolls since I laid eyes on them! And the reasons are multi-fold a) they are absolutely beautiful b) I'm considering becoming a doula or midwife myself and especially think where there's younger children involved this would be an awesome teaching/exploration tool and c) I have an 8 year old daughter and I think it would be wonderful for her to have something like this to explore and play with and normalize so many of these things that society has deemed strange!

To be honest, I have no idea how I've found your website (probably through attachment parenting websites). I won't be original, Sara would be helpful at my work as I am child psychologist. Seeing some of my little patients interacting with Sara would be verry interesting as I have never seen a birthing doll :)

Thank you for the opportunity! I'd love to win Sara because I want my daughter to be able to have a doll that is not only handmade, but also exhibits the true beauty of being a woman and a mom. I'm strongly against the highly sexualized dolls being sold on the market to our young girls today and want mine to have a positive female role model. Unfortunately, we're not able to afford your beautiful dolls so would be ecstatic to win one.

I would love to win Sara. As a birth doula and childbirth educator I find the MaAmor dolls inspiring and beautiful. I would love to see expectant siblings play and interact with Sara and see their sense of wonder as they play and learn.

I have 6 beautiful and amazing daughters who have watched me breastfeed, cloth diaper and babywear. We come from a long line of "attached parenting" generations. I was nursed thru the toddler years, co-slept etc. as was my mom and her mom before her. This was a gift I was able to pass along to my girls who will pass it along to their children. What better way to celebrate than to have a doll they can practice with. Thank you for making a life like doll that inspires others.

What a great contest! I'd love to win Sara for a few reasons: they are made so beautifully, from all over the world and I'd be honoured to have one. I'd love to buy one but currently I am just starting my doula business and my husband was recently laid off. As I said, I'm just entering the world as a doula and would love this doll to help clients' children understand what will happen to their mommies. As well, I'm also interested in becoming a childbirth educator and this would be so handy! I hope whoever wins will love her as much as I would!
Sorry, it looks like this is coming up as unknown from Google. I'm at writing_girlatyahoodotca.

I would *really* love to win Sara. I have a little piggy bank - separate from family funds - so that I can save up for one of your beautiful dolls, so to win one would be amazing.

I just wanted to take this chance to share my story, and let you know how important I think dolls like this are: I had depression during my pregnancy and really badly after my little girl was born (to the point where it's amazing I'm still here). I wish I'd 'been there' in my daughter's early days and I remember so little of her first six months that I still feel like I'm mourning for a baby I never had. But with a MamAmor doll - so positive, celebratory, bright and affirming - I feel as though I could show my girl how exciting and wonderful birth can be. I won't ever be having more children so I don't want my memories of her early days, such dark times, to cloud how she might come to see having children. Having something to counteract that would be so, so amazing.

I have loved your dolls since I first saw them, but have never had funds to buy one for my self. As a nursing consultant, doula, medschool student and long time breastfeedeing mother. How could I not love this dolls.

"About a week after my son was born, I had to begin pumping and feeding to avoid having him hospitalized for jaundice since he wasn't latching and feeding very well. I have since then been struggling to establish breastfeeding with him. He is now 7 weeks old and I am able to get him to successfully latch and breastfeed about once or twice a week. I am determined to keep trying!

After I was introduced to your company and looked at the pictures of your beautiful dolls today, I have been able to get him to latch and eat 3 times! I love the message they send and I love that they helped renew my faith and positivity while I was struggling today. I can't wait to be able to own one myself. Thank you!"

I posted the above post on your facebook page two weeks ago. Ever since that I was able to establish breastfeeding and I only have to pump to have milk to store! The day I found your dolls was an amazing turning point for my son and I and I truly think that your dolls were part of my success. Because I am a stay at home mom, I don't have a lot of money to spare so I am unable to purchase one of your dolls, but I'd love to have one to remind me of the struggles I had and how I persevered. Plus they are just beautiful. Sara would be cherished and have a wonderful home with me! Thank you again Mamamor!

I want Sara because I am currently pregnant with a little girl and am planning a home birth. I would love to have a doll for her that represents the natural aspects of birth and breastfeeding, which have become incredibly important to me during this pregnancy with all of the information i've been able to come across.
Great tool to teach young children the truth about the stork!

I would love to bring Sara home because she would be the best teaching tool for my 3 year old daughter, who loves natural dolls and she loves the relationship between mother and baby (which she is constantly pretending- rather obsessed with it)! Sara is so beautiful, we have been wanting a MamAmor doll for ages. Thanks for the opportunity! Subscribed and shared the giveaway on my FB wall. :)

I'd Love to have Sarah for my beautiful daughter. I am a first time mom that was on the fence about Breast feeding. I am proud to say that we are going strong at 4 months and not planning on stopping. I fell in love with these dolls the minute I saw them and I would much rather get these amazing dolls for my daughter then superficial Barbies. I love that they so innocently help teach our children about the wonders of birth and breastfeeding and that it is natural, not gross or taboo. Our society today has been tainted by these thoughts and Breastfeeding is frowned upon, especially in public. I also love the fact that these dolls are not factory produced, they are hand crafted by women all over the world, and its a real since of cultural diversity working all together to accomplish one common goal, which is how the world should be.

Well what a beautiful and classy lady Sara is! This couldn't have come up at a better time in my families life! My very lovely daughter started her periods last week at the very young and tender age of 6 years old :( as you can imagine this is a total shock and emotional time for my daughter and is hard enough when we are in are teens let alone 6 tiny years! My daughter is extremely confused and very sad and I am doing my best to explain things but she seems very angry about it! Sara well she could explains and demonstrate why us women are meant to have periods and what being a lady actually means! Sara would offer great comfort and become a life long friend at such a hard and emotional time her my precious daughters life! She would be loved and cared for incredibly and hopefully make me daughter feel special again as she would have Sara by her side to support her and such a tender time!

So it would be great doll to share with our students as well as have for my daughters! Such beautiful work.

And to teach children the (our future mothers and fathers) the importance of breastfeeding. Plus she has a strawberry blonde hair like me! :)

Sara and baby would find a place in health education, art ed and trauma recovery with me. I work in health care in a community with a high birth rate, a lot of trauma, a young population, and a low rate of breastfeeding. Part of my practice includes making dolls with community members who are coping with trauma and loss. Your dolls and their makers are incredibly inspiring. Thank you all for your work!

I would love to win Sara & her baby to be able to offer them a lovely home. I am a Registered Midwife in Australia, and Sara would make an excellant educational aid in Antenatal classes, but will also assist in 'normalising' childbirth & allowing people to speak freely about birth & their experiences. I have found that women tend to share their 'horror' birth stories, scarying the crap out of expectant mama's & papa's, and that women who try to share their happy, positive, empowering birth stories are almost shunned. Lets make birth normal, remove the stigma and fear, and be free to talk about babies coming out of womens vaginas!

We would love to have Sara in our Family!

I would love to win this doll because i have two little girls that i want to teach about birth. Society and media teaches our children to fear birth and that it is only a trauma, I want my children to know that birth is their choice! That birth is empowering and a natural process of the human body. I want to become a midwife in the future but do not have the money or much time to put into it. So i spend my few hours a day i get to myself researching it on the internet. Blogs, studies, birth videos, state laws regarding home birth and unassisted birth, and statistics. I work very hard to make women aware in my small community that the way they birth is their choice and not to fear it. I was personaly told i would not be able to birth more than a 6lb baby... my first daughter was 8lbs 10oz! Our bodies are capable of AMAZING things, and I would love to have a tool to share that with my mom circle in my area!

I would SO like to win Sara because it would be the perfect gift for my great midwife who told me a few weeks before birth that she saw MamAmor Dolls and she would really to wish to have one!
I just had a beautiful homebirth with my daughter, husband and the most perfect midwife I could get for us.
Although I would be happy to give Sara to my 3-year-old daughter (who was with me all the time and welcomed her little brother when we were still in the water tub and the umbilical cord was still pulsating) I would give Sara immediately on to my midwife. Just with her help we had the perfect birth and just because of her I got to know MamAmor Dolls. She was always wishing to have a MamAmor Doll, to show little boys and girls in the courses to prepare them on birth and the time afterwards, when they get sisters and brother. And to show first-time-mommies and daddies!
It would be the perfect gift for her, she would be SO happy about it! And Sara would have such a great midwife at her side to tell children the story of birthing - such a beautiful, lovely, enchating, blessed moment in life!

We would love Sara to be a part of our family of three homebirthed boys. We are raising compassionate well rounded men of the future!

These dolls are gorgeous! I would love to have one to share with my little redhead. The support of the craftswomen, the positive reinforcement of a doll that can birth and breastfeed, these are things that I want her to embrace! Motherhood is a beautiful thing :)

Well, *I* am a Sarah, so naturally this doll was made for me! :) I am pregnant with my fourth baby and preparing for my second home birth. My girls were present for the birth of my son and it would be amazing to have one of these dolls so that my younger two could be prepared for what they're (hopefully) going to see upon the birth of the new baby! Being a military family and a stay at home mamma, money is tight, and while I'm confident they're worth every penny, a give away is really the only way one of these beautiful dolls will live in our family.
My daughter just told me an endearing story about how she thinks babies are made. She wants a little baby brother or sister and she began by telling me I should hug daddy because then I would have a baby. Afterwards, I would visit the doctor to make a picture of the baby, and then the baby would be delivered. It was touching, and while we are working on it, she might have to wait a little longer. I am a fan of your dolls because they remind me every day of the magnificent process of birth and our wonderful bodies. I always tell my little girl the differences between women and men and I know she would admire this doll jsut as I admire them. I'm a fan of educating people about birth, our choices, and our bodies. I would use this doll for many wonderful heartfelt talks with my daughter and probably funny ones, too. What a wonderful tool for young ones and for older people in pre-natal classes as well. Thank you for making these dolls. Blessings!

We want Sara in our house because I wanted one for my son when my daughter was born in June but I couldn't afford one. I'd love to have her when our third eventual child is born. She is just like me! Red hair, freckles, and green eyes! I've lusted over your dolls for quite a while now!!

I would love to win Sara because I am pregnant with our 3rd child and my 4 year old daughter is enamored with mothering and the birth process. I will begin midwifery school in the spring after the new lo has arrived and would love to have a few of these dolls as teaching tools for my clients one day. I drool every time I see another one posted!

I just absolutely love these dolls! I would love to win Sara for our family, as a teaching tool, a lovely reminder about parenting and nurturing, a companion for our kiddos and just to own such lovely craftsmanship! :)

This is fantastic! 10,000 fans!! Congrats MamAmor.
I would love to win Sara! So would my oldest daughter who has wanted a MamAmor since I introduced them to her a few years ago. A MamAmor in our house would be dearly loved and used for learning both for my children and for my doula clients. I so appreciate the fact that you use the talents of women around the world to create these beautiful dolls. Knowing that other women, moms like myself, are participating and bringing in an income through their talents does my heart good! This is not some mass-marketed, slave labor doll. :)

Sara is beautiful! I would love to gift her to my daughter. As the last born in our family, I would love to normalize birth for her and Sara would certainly help as she will not have the opportunity to see me bring other babies into this world nor will she see me nurse a baby. Also, as a childbirth educator, Sara would be great to have to pull into class. :-) Oh, and I subscribed. :-)

Why do I want Sara? Let me count the ways! *lol* In all seriousness, though, I would love to have Sara for my own because of the beauty she represents. As an aspiring doula, her calmness and serenity inspire me to be the same and she would be a lovely tool for future clients. All that from a doll! :)

My family would love to welcome Sara into our home. She would be well cared for and played with as well. I think these MamAmore Dolls are wonderful teaching tools used in "play" for children. My son would be excited to have one of these dolls. I think everyone should have one in there home. :)
I adore your dolls and would love to have Sara to save for my first child. I am also a Doula and would love to show her to all my friends, family and clients. I am about to start hosting a moms and tots monthly get together at my house for the women in my church and community and would love for the children to see a doll that shows what normal is!
I have loved your dolls for so long! I am a doula, student midwife and expecting my second baby in November. I would love to have Sara for all those reasons as well as to support your mission as the maker of Mamamor Dolls.
