YES!!! ANOTHER GIVEAWAY!!!!

As promised...and in celebration of MamAmor's new website...and our 2000+ Facebook friends, here is another GIVEAWAY!

This gorgeous mama could have been sold in a flash...but instead....she could be yours! She was made with a lot of love and I hope she finds an amazing new home! You can see more pictures of this sweet mama in MamAmor's Facebook page.

I hope you appreciate the effort made to give this doll to you for free, she is a real piece of art and she deserves a great owner, so I decided to create some rules to ensure that ONLY people that are REALLY interested in owning a MamAmor Doll will enter this giveaway.

TO ENTER, I need you to commit to 3 things:

1) You will need to refer MamAmor's new website to your friends, or to people whom might love these dolls. Please don't refer just to anyone, pick the right person, I am not interested in having 10.000 Facebook friends that don't really care about my dolls.

2) You will be expected to pay for the shipping costs for the doll to get to you, I'll let you know the rate to your location. Only shipping, the Doll is FREE.

3) Leave a comment on this blog, that will be YOUR ENTRY.

Contest ends in two weeks, NOVEMBER 8TH at 8PM (MST).

THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING!!!

GOOD LUCK!

I absolutely love your dolls. You do amazing work. Each and every doll that I look at has her own personality, which makes them so unique. I am currently studying to be a lactation consultant, with the hopes to continue on to becoming a midwife. I think that one of your beautiful dolls would be a perfect teaching tool for new moms as well as siblings to be. I have and will recommend your website as well as your page on Facebook, whether or not I win this doll. I think that you have an amazing talent. Hopefully someday these dolls will be a big part of my practice as a midwife as well as a lactation consultant.

Well done on yet another perfect doll! I had planned to buy a doll for my daughter to prepare her for our up and coming home birth, to provide her with someone to nurture while i am looking after our new baby and to keep as a special memento to hand on to her own children when she starts having babies of her own... and then we got the plumbing bill =( Winning this doll would be an absolute dream come true! I'll officially send some invites via facebook to people, but everyone who knows me has already heard me raving about them anyway!
Keep smiling =)

Hello!!! I just heard about you amazing dolls a few days ago, and I have already been telling everyone about them! I am a doula, Bradley natural childbirth educator, breast feeding, baby wearing mama and I can not say enough about the love I have for these dolls and for you for creating them. I am so excited that this type of toy is now available!!! I know someone who did not breastfeed with her first two but wanted to try with her third baby. Believe it or not...she decided when she was pregnant with her third child that she did not want to breastfeed because she was afraid her 4 yr old daughter would be confused since her baby dolls were fed with bottles. Now I can tell people that NOT ALL DOLLS TAKE BOTTLES! Thank you so much for creating these dolls!!! They are educational, not to mention heart warming, adorable and fun!! It really touches my heart, I just can not say enough about them, they are truly a portrait of love, devotion and the relationship between mother and child. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have shared your dolls with all my favorite people. They are beautiful!!
Your dolls..... This doll in particular... is so... breathtaking. Its time these dolls simply become normal for young children's toys. Long outdated are the bottle fed, gigantic eyed, un-huggable dolls..We need to find a normalcy with birth and breast feeding and these dolls are perfect for just that. They speak to the next generation of birthing women in their rawest, most open stage in life.....childhood. Your dolls are graceful, adorable, educational and JUST what my 8 month old baby girl needs to grow up along side as she learns of the amazing birth experience I had with her and how birth is perfectly normal and sacred to every mother and child.

Your dolls are so beautiful. I have wanted one to call my own from the moment I saw them. I am a mama to two beautiul babes. I became a midwife with the intention of changing how our culture percieves birth (in Australia, like most western cultures we have a predominantly negative persepecive on birth), for women and men to realise that birth can a beautiful, positive, spiritual experience. I would love this gorgeous mama to add to my collection of artworks which help me to share this message. It is also so refreshing to see a doll for gils to love and play with which is congruent with the mothering messages we need to pass along. Vaginal birth and breastfeeding are normal parts of life! Blessed be x

I just found these dolls and wow! Thank you for being daring and going against the "norm" dolls that are available! I looked all over for a doll that breastfed for my son before my daughter was born and wish I had found these! I LOVE the VBAC doll and THANK YOU for that! My son was an emergency c-section (after two weeks in and out of labor and two external version one for 1.5 hours) my daughter was a hard fought (32hour labor) VBAC with 3.5 hours of pushing (pregnancy survived two different states one of which was totally against VBACs, my husbands layoff then mine moving over 2000 miles to Alaksa (we drove it for our dogs (they wouldnt fly them) away from all family so my husband could take a camp job where he is gone two weeks at a time but I could finally stay home with my son and soon to be daughter). I have to say I am in tears right now that someone would actually think about us VBACrs and the fight that we suffer (in my case against doctors, family and stupid insurance rules) Even if I dont win the doll thank you for these dolls they are great for awareness!

I have only just recently come across your facebook page while doing a search for breastfeeding dolls. I think the dolls are amazing, beautiful, funky and unique, there is just nothing out there like them. My still breastfeeding 3 1/2 year old daughter Emily is hoping for her own baby for Xmas and I can't bring myself to get one of those typical baby dolls toys in a toy shop and I know she would adore this. I think it is very important for kids to have breastfeeding in their life, not just to nourish and comfort them, but to see around them as the norm so that when they grow up, it will be absolutely normal and not something they will need to think about whether to do or not. I live in Ireland where breastfeeding is not common at all but I surround myself with like minded mothers who feel as I do about breastfeeding and raising children. I have recommended your facebook page to them and have raved about your dolls. I wish you every luck in the future and you are so lucky to be doing something like this that you love. It is such a rare thing. Natacha Weadick.

I just found you site and your dolls. They are adorable. I love all of them. This one is too cute and I would love for get to offer her a forever home at my house. My son and I had a rough go of it with breastfeeding in the beginning and we/I endured the ordeal to get to the good part of breastfeeding and he just weaned about 5 months ago at 2 and a half. This doll would be a wonderful reminder of the gift my son and I gave each other.

Your dolls are so beautiful and have love sew throughout them that shows in each sweet mama you create. I love how you like to know where they live and how families feel about their dolls. They are very special and show how mamas and babies should be, attatched! Thank you for making something to cherish the beautiful relationship moms have with their babies. I have a sweet 2 1/2 year old son who is tandem nursing with his 5 month old sister who would (and their mama) cherish this sweet doll. Even if we do not win we would like to eventually own a doll to celebrate our wonderful relationships. I want to celebrate my VBAC (in the back of my doulas car on the way to the hospital) and your beauties allow me to do that as well as celebrate my nursing relationship with my babies.

Beautiful dolls :) I think a child's doll is such an important play thing that is often overlooked in the US and kids are given piles of plastic dolls versus one to love and treasure. Thank you for the opportunity to win one! I'm inviting my friends now.

Thank you so much for having a giveaway like this, I would love to be entered as I know my little girl would just love to have one of your dolls. I think most importantly is the love and care that go into these beautiful dolls that makes them really one of a kind. Thank you so much again.
LOVE your dolls, and even better, my hubby does too! My daughter (now 2) insists that she "nurse" my 6 month old boy, so we sit her in the nursing chair and she takes off her shirt, and i old him up to her, then we have to switch to the other breast. oh did I mention she think she needs nursing pads on (during the day) and knows what to do with my pump! The fact that she does this makes me the happiest momma! Your doll would only reiterate the message we are trying to send to her (and to my son)!

Not only are your dolls so loved and detailed beautifully, but you are also at the same time promoting a type of parenting all but lost in the modern era. You are changing the world one stitch at a time. . . not just physical work but spiritual work!! Bless you!!!

I am a breastfeeding mom of two and I totally love the idea of your dolls. There is nothing I love more then watching my two year old breastfeeding her dolls and being a good Mommy. She also love to carry her dolls just like mommy carried her and now carries her sister! I think she would be over the moon to receive one of these dolls!
I have recommended you to all my attachment parenting Mama friends.
I hope you can make dolls for a long time to come so that all the little girls and boys will know what attachment parenting is!

I recommended your new website and facebook page to thirty-two of my nearest and dearest natural birth and breastfeeding advocates.
Your dolls truly are amazing, and more than being creative works of art, they help teach little ones where babies come from and how they eat, without all the unnatural myths and mystery that bottles and skinny dolls with chubby babies elicit.
They're phenomenal, and I think we're all blessed that you're making them.
If I won one, I'd be ecstatic. I keep reading the phrase "over the moon," and yes, that's just it. Over the moon. As a side note, this specific doll is gorgeous. Absolutely beautiful.

I LOVE your dolls!! I am a new fan of yours, having just discovered you in the last month, but I am already in love with your Mama's! I have a 4 year old son and 2 1/2 year old daughter who watch me breastfeed their 3 month old sister and my eldest daughter has already been asking when and how she can do that too! My son is always telling people that Lucy doesn't have a bottle she has "mama's special milk."
I would love to own one of these beautiful dolls to continue teaching my children the natural, beautiful cycle of life. I also homeschool my children and I can see so many lessons in the years to come as well by using your doll as examples. Thank you for giving such a wonderful gift to so many!!

My two year old son has started nursing his baby, oh how I would love to win this doll for him. I want him to grow up with the knowledge that breast feeding is natural, and not something that any mother should be embarrassed about. I would love for him to be a very supportive husband when its time. So will not discourage him wanting to nurture his own baby...thank you for making such woo such wonderful dolls, they are all absolutely beautiful!!!

I've never won anything, but I hope I win this. These dolls are so incredible and I think I'd fight with my daughter over who gets to play with her more.
Dear beautiful mama and baby,
I am writing to invite you to come and stay in our home. We live in the beautiful Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia. It's a wonderful bush environment, and an amazing community of loving parents, natural- and home-birthing and breastfeeding families. Our home is in a quiet street surrounded by bushland, and is full of the noise and love of three children, Zoe, 7, Tristan, 4, and Aeryn, 2. They would all adore having you to love with us, and joining our little clan. Aeryn would happily spend much time with you breastfeeding her babies while you feed yours. She is a chatty and nurturing mama to her babies.
much love,
Sarah

I am a breastfeeding, natural parenting mom with a beautiful 4 year old. After 3 years of trying and the loss of my infant son at 20 weeks gestation last November 13th 2009, we are expecting a baby boy December 25th 2010. I could not have asked for a more perfect Christmas gift.

I have long admired your dolls and would love to have one for my daughter so that she can nurture it as I have nurtured her. I think it would be a beautiful gift to give it to her the day her Baby brother is born so that she can be a "little mommy" too.

Thank you for considering me

Sincerely

these dolls are beautiful!

I would love "TO WIN' !!!!

Thank you for bringing your awesome dolls to the world! I wish I could get one.. hopefully soon!
I love your dolls, and everything they represent! I am longing for one for many reasons; I am a mother, with 2 daughters who hear all kinds of wonderful things from me, yet each time they see a commercial or pick up a run of the mill doll, I worry about it all being forgotten and misunderstood. These run of the mill dolls come with bottles, car seats and strollers...everything you need to practiced unattached parenting. I want my girls to have something "real" to play with and relate to. I am also a doula and a severe birth junkie, your dolls represent the "normal" I educate about.
Thanks for doing what you do, I want you to know that I appreciate so much what your passion does for society, women, children and childbirth.

I adore your dolls and have always looked at each and every new doll with excitement!! Thanks for the heads up about the new website, off to change/add the link on my blog!! Have FB to 6 people I know who would love your dolls!
Good luck (and pick meeeeeeeee)
Your dolls are fabulous and I would be honoured to give this one a home in my family. We are currently living in Cambodia so perhaps it would be your first doll in South East Asia...

All four of my children would find her beautiful and educational but my four year old would fall in love with her. They even look alike!

If this doll is not destined to travel to us then I will have to place a custom order at some point so either way, I will feel as though we have won!

You do such beautiful work! I know these lovely mamas and babies would be cherished not only by me, but by me "side" loving daughter as well. It's my dream to one day hire you to make a special doll for her - what a blessing winning would be.

I told 4 friends about your blog and facebook page. Each of them are also breastfeeding mamas with little girls who would love a doll of their own. I would have no problem with paying shipping at all.

Oh my I wish I could make dolls like this, they are so beautiful! I am a mama to two wonderful children and my nursing three year old would love to share a mamamor with her doula/childbirth educator and homebirth support group leader mama! I facilitate physiological birth sessions with professional believers in the technocratic model of birth. I am sure one of these dolls will bring smiles and warmth to my groups. I will recommend to our local vbac and attachment parenting groups. I live in the UK and am sooooo happy to pay shipping :-)

One of your dolls would make the perfect Maiden's way gift for my daughter. I've been eying them for some time now, and even if I don't win I'll definetly be ordering a doll once I save up for one. And it just may be your first doll in Eastern Europe, a place where healthy body and birth images are very much needed, where we Cannucks are making our home at the moment ;)

I have referred all the women in my Doula group and my Prenatal Pilates class to your website. I know they will love your dolls as much as I do. Here in Istanbul we don't have many things like this available. Unfortunately birth is becoming more medacalized by the day here but we have formed an association to support healthy birth options for women in Turkey and this beautiful Mama would be our official mascot. We'll be ordering one in the future even if we don't win. Thank you for making such beautiful and inspiring dolls (pieces of art) and for blessing us all with your creations.

These dolls are absolutely made with LOVE by MAMAS, what could be better than that?! I'm a single-mom of one girl that just turned 5, and I recently told her I'm expecting another baby! I'd love this doll to help her learn and role play in the upcoming months of my pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. It would be great for her to act it out with the doll as a teaching tool, and something to play with during my long nursing sessions (it's only her and I in the home- the father has chosen to not be present in our lives at the moment) and I really was trying to save for one of your dolls to help my daughter feel just as loved and like the special little girl she is, as she becomes 'the big sister'. !! :)

I just came across your facebook today and absolutely feel in love with these. There so cool. The first thing I thought of was my niece. She is 11 years old and would cherish this doll. She has a pair of old dolls that I gave her a few months back(They were her mothers) and she adores them to pieces. This is the sort of thing that could be passed from mother to child and then further on down the line for many years. Oddly enough the hair of this dolls resembles that of my sister's when she was younger haha! So many different colors, thick and beautiful.

I love your dolls and the fact that there hand made just makes them even more special because there each made with so much love.

Keep doing what your doing.

Hey! She kind of looks like me! : ) I love your handiwork, and I'd love for our daughter to have a doll whose accessories I didn't have to veto. With her being an only child, I'd like her to be able to see her doll nursing it's babies. She used to walk around with her baby stuffed in her shirt so it could "eat". She's out grown that phase, but this lovely mama seems just Shelby's speed!

We have loved looking at your dolls for a long time. There is nothing like them here in Australia. My daughter would love to care for such a beautiful Mumma dolly. She and my son both witnessed the birth of their baby brother which was a fantastic experience. She thought it was amazing. I really want her to grow up to be unafraid of birth. :)

I love her! She is beautiful. I love how she is so multi purpose! It angers me that I haven't been able to find my daughter a baby doll that supports our way of life (until I found you!). I would love this mama because then my daughter could play with her and when the time comes, I'll be able to teach her about mamas much easier (and more interesting!). I'm also studying to be a birth and postpartum doula and having this doll would be very helpful with clients!
