YES!!! ANOTHER GIVEAWAY!!!!

As promised...and in celebration of MamAmor's new website...and our 2000+ Facebook friends, here is another GIVEAWAY!

This gorgeous mama could have been sold in a flash...but instead....she could be yours! She was made with a lot of love and I hope she finds an amazing new home! You can see more pictures of this sweet mama in MamAmor's Facebook page.

I hope you appreciate the effort made to give this doll to you for free, she is a real piece of art and she deserves a great owner, so I decided to create some rules to ensure that ONLY people that are REALLY interested in owning a MamAmor Doll will enter this giveaway.

TO ENTER, I need you to commit to 3 things:

1) You will need to refer MamAmor's new website to your friends, or to people whom might love these dolls. Please don't refer just to anyone, pick the right person, I am not interested in having 10.000 Facebook friends that don't really care about my dolls.

2) You will be expected to pay for the shipping costs for the doll to get to you, I'll let you know the rate to your location. Only shipping, the Doll is FREE.

3) Leave a comment on this blog, that will be YOUR ENTRY.

Contest ends in two weeks, NOVEMBER 8TH at 8PM (MST).

THANKS FOR PARTICIPATING!!!

GOOD LUCK!

I am a new midwife and have seen these dolls in other midwifery clinics-they are beautiful and all the kids (and grown ups!) are drawn to them. Just yesterday I mentioned your new website to a mama's mother and aunt who were visiting in anticipation of her upcoming birth and they were quite excited as they teach a prenatal class for young adults/teenagers. You've definitely got some new fans!

As a homebirth mum of 2 all the way from New Zealand i was so amazed when i stumbled across your beautifull dolls. I instantly sent your link to all the homebirth families in my region and got lots of replies back saying they loved them and why couldn't there be more things like them on the market.
I especially love the fact that the babies still have their placenta's attached (i think claire day would be very impressed!), both my children were lotus birthed and love looking at their birth albums and talking about their placentas.
Your mama would be a wonderfull addition to our family and loved by myself and my children. What a wonderfull way to share with my children the message of natural birth and attachment parenting on a daily basis.
Keep up the good work of making these amazing dolls that are been gifted to the young children of our generation, to start planting the seeds, of natural birth.

I have just discovered your dolls via a friend and I think they are AMAZING! I myself am a doula, a birth warrior, fighting for women's rights to birth the way they want in the country of Australia where birth rights are currently up in the air and our choices are being stripped from us because of the over-medicalised business of birth. Your dolls remind me of just how 'normal' and 'natural' birth is, and I want to share them with other like minded people. THANKYOU for producing such wonderful pieces of ART! ♥♥♥

Arrgh!!! First comment wouldn't post and then i lost it.
I love your dolls and I've been drooling over them since I first saw them. I almost cried when I saw the price. I know that they are totally worth that price, but winning one is probably the only way (short of winning the lottery or something) that I would ever be able to have one.
As a dolly collector and breastfeeding, co-sleeping, baby wearing, crunchy mama, I really love both the idea and presentation of your dolls.
You rock!! (will be sharing this with friends on both facebook and livejournal.)

My name is Sarah Mata, I am 21 years old and a mother of 7 month old daughter. When my husband and I found out we were pregnant we were ecstatic, we already knew what kind of birth we wanted and we were excited to meet our new daughter.
When I was 16 years old, I began working for a family friend who was a midwife. She taught me all about natural birth and breastfeeding. It was so beautiful and natural, I knew then when I was ready to be a mother I knew what I would do.
I was in attendance for my sisters birthing of her daughter, she had a home birth and was able to stay in the comfort of her home. She was surrounded by people who loved her and was there to support her for her birth. Unfortunately my sister was not able to breastfeed. She did try, but do to a bump on her daughter’s lip, she could not latch. I remember seeing how sad my sister was, I felt so badly for her, seeing her cry was heart breaking to me. She sees me breastfeed and always says I wish I could have breast feed. I always think back to the day when she was crying in her room, and my mom was feeding her daughter formula. I don’t know her pain or sadness, but I can see why she would be upset.
I had a home birth in the water with assistance of a midwife. It was so beautiful, I was able to catch my own daughter and her father was in the water with me. My daughter was born in a peaceful environment with her family there to welcome her to the world.
I was able to breastfeed and I am still doing so. I love being this close to my daughter and knowing that I am doing what is best for her. I hope to breastfeed as long as I can.
The reason why I am interested in getting a MamAmor Dolls is because when I was younger I was taught the beauty and importance of birth and breastfeeding. I want my daughter to know that birth is a natural and beautiful thing and the importance of breastfeeding in hopes she will make educated decision when it comes to her pregnancy and birth.
I really, really want this! The people I will be referring will be the midwifes who helped me deliver my daughter and my Home Birth Meet up group.
This is something I will cherish and teach my daughter to cherish, if I won this would mean a lot to me and husband.
Thank you,
Sarah

These dolls are amazing! As I sat with my daughters 8 and 2, when we got to the blog with this doll, they both shouted Momma Doll! lol. I dont really think I resemble the doll, but I guess they see it lol. Someday I wish I could see life through my childrens eyes, just so I could understand them on one more level...
I add you to my FB page for Circle of Life (my business) and suggested you to all my 'birthy' Momma's and friends. Keep up the amazing work and with or without winning I would love to add you to my "We Recommend" Page on my website, if that would be okay :)

What generosity of spirit you are spreading with the love of this beautiful creation! I am inspired and excited to share the news of your fine work. Congratulations on your new website, it looks great! My 21 month old son is just getting in to pretend play and is simultaneously less interested in milkies. Your dolls are precious reminders of that first 'simple' year, when exclusive breastfeeding and quiet intimate nourishment set the stage for a wonderful foundation of attachment - and here we are, moving forward into a new world all over again...and i would love to share the nurturing experience of your doll with him. Ripe with lessons and experiential opportunities for play and growing together. She would be a prized additional to our family. Blessed Be!

Oh my gosh!! This doll looks just like me!! Seriously. And.... does the baby have orange hair? My youngest (a throwback from who knows where LOL!) has orange hair. And each of us have curls included! My baby is not much of a baby anymore though, she's almost 3 now, but still breastfed ;-) I have 3 daughters, twins are have just turned 5, then the almost-3-year old who spend almost every waking moment playing mums and babies and as part of that play, babywearing and feeding their babies (which are often each other even hehehee) "mummy's milk" is pretty standard. I just love how they see these things as completely "normal" (arcgh, hate that word really!) and I pray so much that when they have their own children they'll continue to see these are just "what you do". I'm also a student midwife and in that role love to encourage "natural parenting" to all I encounter :-)
Your dolls are truly inspiring! It would be such a blessing to receive one. Thank you so very much for sharing x

I would love to win one of these dolls. As a doula-in-training, I think it would be helpful to use with the children of expectant parents, as well as to use with my own child when we decide to grace him with a sibling!
LOVE her.....I need a 12 step program!
love you.....carla

I've referred friends and am commenting to officially enter! This doll is so adorable and would fit our family well. Like the little baby doll, my youngest (7 months) has reddish brown hair :o)

I could not ask for a better way to help my 3 year little girl understand that mommy is finally pregnant (after lots of medical assistance and "practice") and has a baby growing in her belly. Being that I am in my 1st trimester and not showing she thinks she and daddy all have babies in their bellies. Lets just say this doll would become not only her favorite dolly but would help her understand all aspects of pregnancy and nursing... In a way that a book or pictures could not portray to a 3 year old.
Much appreciative of your work,
Tammy

My wife and I love your dolls. We're hoping to get one for our son; it'd be nice for him to have a doll that isn't associated with bottlefeeding.
