I would like Sara because I think these dolls are so beautiful! I've breastfed my son all of his 10 month like and I think a MamAmor doll would commemorate our journey so well. It would also help when he is older if we have another baby to explain how birth works.

Also, I want to win Sara so I can give her as a gift to my SIL, who is pregnant with twin girls (first pregnancy)
She will then be able to pass Sara along to the girls as they get older :)

I want to win Sara because my 22 month old is still breastfeeding and she brings all her dolls to me and pretends they are nursing too. I think it would be great for her to have a doll that does it to her own baby! :) She is getting to the age of understanding and I want her to have a normal understanding of breastfeeding and not think it is weird or unusual. :)

I want the Sara doll for my daughter who gave birth to my first grandchild in February. This has been a very sad year for her - her best friend & the friend's child were murdered this year - and between that and a few other setbacks, she has had some difficulties adjusting to parenthood and, really, to life in general. She says that the birth of her daughter has been the only bright spot in the last year, so I'd like to commemorate that "bright spot" for her with a MamAmor doll like Sara.

Subscribed! I would love to win Sara! I have 2 children: A little boy who is 3 and a little girl who is 7. My children love the dolls and tell me all of the time how they would love to have one here at home. My daughter wants to be a midwife when she grows up and adores all things birth and brestfeeding, just like her Mom. She could give just as much advice and information to someone as I can on both topics. She seen Sara, and fell in love with her and told me how she would love to win Sara so that she could use her to teach her little brother about birth and breastfeeding. I, myself, would love to have Sara here in our home. All of the MamAmor dolls have a beautiful, freespirited energy and remind me of my births. I feel very connected with Sara and would be thrilled to win her and watch my children learn with her. Thank you for this awesome chance to win and good luck to all of the others who have entered. Peace and Blessings! <3

I would like to win Sara because I just gave birth to my second child and would like to be able to teach both my children about childbirth and breastfeeding in a way they can see and understand. We had a homebirth with both my children and my son was able to help cut the cord so he has some understanding and I'd like tobe able to show the same things to my daughter. I also work in childcare and feel this doll would help give other children the same opportunity. I think it is so important for childbirth and breastfeeding to be a "normal" thing for children to experience!

Hello !

I MUST win Sara simply because it's my first daughter's name !

And of course I love this gorgeous doll, I love breasfeeding, I love babywearing, I love cloth diapers ...

And my youngest daughter is 10 months old, so she will soon be able to play with a beautiful doll (as soon as she will stop eating everything!)

Thank you !

I would love to win Sara for our 3 children because they love dolls and babies too. They would love playing "birth" with her. Our 3 year old and 2 year old watched their baby brother's birth last January and would enjoy reinacting it with Sara. And Sara's hair and eyes resemble mine, so the kids would find that pretty cool.

I want Sara for so many reasons! I want my children to have a doll that models good parenting and shows two of life's most special things-birthing and breastfeeding. As a child I always wanted a doll that could do these things, so I am so glad that you make MamAmor dolls! I am also a doula, sibling doula and an apprentice midwife. I would love to have a doll to bring along with me to appointments with kids so that they can more easily understand the birthing process and become more comfortable ahead of teh birth. Sara and her baby are lovely--I would love it if she were mine!

Who wouldn't want a doll created by talented women and embodying motherhood in it finest form! <3 I would live to give her a home something to remind me of the birth journeys and breastfeeding journeys of all of my children when I look at her! I love your dolls! I just can't afford them! LOL! I have a 1 little girl in a household of 6 boys and I would love to spoil her with this precious doll! I am a SAHM, doula, homebirther, and AP advocate. This doll is the doll for us! :) Oh, and subscribed!

Oh Sara is just beautiful. I would love to win her for my boys and my nieces - we have lots of playdates here and their favourite game is re-enacting mine and my sister's labour (I had a beautiful natural birth with a midwife and my sister had a freebirth) I just love how birth is seen as a natural every day event and how they all breastfeed their 'babies' My boys get upset because being male they can't physically 'have'babies and so this doll would enable them to give birth and breastfeed :)

I have shared your awesome competition on my business page Little Pickers www.facebook.com/littlepickers as well as my personal page

I want to win one for my daughter. I think it is a wonderful teaching tool for her. I want her to be able to play creatively with a doll that reflects our values and lifestyle as a family. Also, I teach breastfeeding classes and am a doula, and I think Sara would be a wonderful tool to use, especially for helping siblings prepare for births.

I want Sara because I am a nurse midwifery student and I would like to sit her above my desk as a reminder to keep working hard to reach my goal of becoming a CNM. I have wanted to be a midwife for almost 20 years because I love taking care of women during pregnancy and birth and want to help empower women to have the best birth experience possible for them. Hopefully in a little over two years I will reach my goal and begin catching babies!

Children learn so much through play. I am currently nursing my 14 month old daughter and I would love for her to have a doll that will help her incorporate the beautiful experience of breastfeeding into her play. There will come a time when she decides to stop nursing and may not remember the special moments we shared. I hope that if we win the Sara doll, we can continue to discuss what our bodies do to care for our children. Although we do have some friends and family that breastfeed their babies, my daughter will continue to see many of her friends bottle-fed. She has been given a couple of baby-dolls as gifts. They came with bottles. This doll though would have a special place in our home, and it would share as a reminder every time we played with her of the bond my daughter and I shared.

I have tried over and over again to get this to post! So now my post will be shorter! I am a nurse midwifery student and love anything to do with pregnancy and birth. I want Sara to sit above my desk to remind me everyday of why I started this journey which is to provide women with childbirth options other than medicalized birth.

I'd love to win Sara because she's beautiful and would just absolutely love my home. I've birth my boys at home and so I'm sure she'll fit right in and be very comfy. My daughter prefers her hair be colorful and stylish, much like Sara, so I'm sure they'll get along grandly. We are also a very breastfeeding friendly home. Many dolls are currently tandem nursing so Sara would feel right at home. We value a gentle and peaceful home and make sure all our friends are well cared for, so I think she'd be comfortable and loved for a long time! I also teach childbirth education and am a doula, I bet she'd love to meet my clients and help them understand the joys of birth!

I am just beginning my business as a doula and starting school as a STUDENT MIDWIFE! I dream of having one of these dolls in my lending library to help teach siblings about birth and breastfeeding. What a great teaching tool for young ones who learn and process through play.
We would love Sara to give to our 4.5 year old little boy. I am currently pregnant and want to teach him all about birth and what he will be experiencing at the birth center come March. We will also use it with our little girl who is 18 months old but it would mainly be for his education right now and hers later. This doll is gorgeous!

This is the first I've heard of your company and am blown away by what you are doing. I have had two very different birthing and breastfeeding experiences. My first was in a private hospital with an obstetrician. The birth of my daughter involved a full induction which was not my choice but booked in by the OB without discussion. The only thing that I can say was ok was that I had a vaginal birth! There was a lot of stress with breastfeeding and she didn't attach for the first week, but was fed on a combination of expressed breast milk and formula as she was a very hungry little baby. I persevered with the breastfeeding, reading everything I could and taking it one step at a time and after a week she attached, though it was up and down a lot of the time but I stuck it out for nearly 10 months. With my second, my son, I went with a midwife program through our public maternity hospital. I ended up having a caesarean after 2 and a half days of a very painful labour and getting to full dilation and trying to push him out. I had control and choice every step of the way and while a c-section was not what I wanted, I have no regrets as I know I did all I was able to but he was in a very bad position.

I would love to win Sara and her baby to show my children what passionate and loving people from all over the world are able to create when they work with love and care and a common goal. After my son was born, my daughter easily took on a new mumma persona and would often sit next to me with one of her teddies and 'feed' them when I was feeding my son. I have no words to describe how beautiful those moments with her were for me and I fell more and more in love with both my children each time we had one, as I do every day of my life. To be able to show both my children what a an incredible thing feeding and nurturing your child is with this doll would mean a lot to me.

I would love Sara! I'm a doula (and an aspiring midwifery student) and I would love to bring Sara to my prenatal meetings. I know my daughter would love her as well - and my son (who watches birth videos with me and is so in love with birth - he is going to be a midwife someday I think). We are also planning a homebirth with our next baby and I think it would be such a great way to explain things to my kids. Thank you, thank you for making this doll able to breastfeed! I feel so sad that most baby dolls available for sale come with bottles only. And thank you for your doll's birthing videos - I posted the undisturbed birth to my Serene Mama Doula facebook page - what a wonderful, calming and positive message. You guys rock!

My 2y7mo old daughter who is still breastfeeding would absolutely love this doll. She has already said that she will have one noo noo and the baby in my tummy can have the other when s/he comes out! I adore all these dolls and wish I could afford to buy one for my girl as she would totally adore it! <3

I want to win Sara because she is a beautiful work of art and is a valuable tool for talking to children about how reproduction and birth works and the symbiotic relationship between a nursing dyad. I personally find these dolls moving and inspirational, and would love to add one to our family's collection.

We want Sara because I am due in February and I plan a homebirth with my older child around. She is 3.5 and Sara would be really helpful to tell her about birth.
Ever since I saw your dolls I've been dreaming about having one. I've shared your contest and page on my profile and also on my little shop page.

I would like to have Sara so my daughter has a doll that is a real example of what it is to be a woman and mother. She is beautiful and a great model of a woman. A far cry from the inappropriate and possible damaging

I want Sara because...i'm a midwife! and she can help me to show birth to mothers, fathers, women, men and children. I'm also a mother of a two year girl, and she love birth tales and the dolls!

I would love to win Sara because I believed Mamamor dolls are the only dolls out there that actually have a purpose of educating. I love how you can normalize breastfeeding from a young age by using a beautiful doll to set the example. It will be a great first doll for my daughter.

I breastfed my daughter until she was nearly 3 and a half (she will be 4 this November) and these beautifully made dolls remind me of what a wondrous and bonding experience that was for both of us. I believe that nurturing our divine feminine wisdom, both within ourselves and within our daughters, is one of the most important gifts of motherhood. I would love to use the Sara doll to teach and empower my daughter about natural childbirth and breastfeeding. I am also a women's and gender studies student at the University of British Columbia so I truly appreciate your fine work!
